Mangrove Snorkel

lights_mangrove_rootsWhile most of us know something about the ocean and coral reefs, we know little about mangrove forests and seagrass beds. Orange sponges, sea squirts, and anemones cover the mangrove roots and small fish are abundant under the trees and in the grass. The trip takes approximately 2 hours and we recommend wetsuits, available by request.

This tour will give you an opportunity to learn about these amazing ecosystems before your guided snorkel over the seagrass meadow next to the mangroves. Please visit our Mangrove & Seagrass Photos page for a peak under the waves next to these incredible forests.

You never know what you will find or learn to appreciate, including seahorses and octopus!
